1.2.0
New
- 110 ready job spots: the package comes with 52 house, 40 vehicle and 18 business spots in
data/locations.json. When updating, keep your own copy of this file. - Service van: rent a company van at the HQ (level 2+, rent and a refundable deposit). It has a mobile workshop, a key cutting machine and gives a customer bonus. Set the HQ
vanspot. - Tool fetching and tool cabinet: basic tools are always on you; advanced tools stay in the van or the HQ tool locker. You take them from a pegboard cabinet UI with an animation and a prop in hand. The wrong tool in hand means the work cannot start (
Config.ServiceVan.ToolFetch). - Apprentice training: a guided first job at the HQ training door, with an on-screen checklist and a mentor. It is safe and pays a one-time reward (
Config.Tutorial, HQtutorialspot,/lstutorial). - Companies: player-founded firms with 5 ranks and permissions. Each member job pays a commission into the company bank. Also: bonuses, a bank history, company levels and reputation, weekly company contracts, a shared tool depot and a company van fleet. Managed in the tablet's Company section (
Config.Company,/locksmithcompany). - Location tool (
/lslocations): a new panel with a map, a list with distances, spot counts and warnings for missing spot types. The world view shows a ghost of the customer's car and the customer NPC, so you see where they will spawn (/lslocations view). Live placement preview, blips, edit, move to your position and test calls (Config.LocationTool). - Black market: a fence at night and an encrypted Channel in the tablet. Four illegal job types: vehicle order, break-in, safe job and copy key. Payment is cash at a drop point. Heat, witness calls to the real police, licence record strikes and a minimum number of officers online (
Config.BlackMarket). - Incoming call card: automatic calls arrive on a pager with a printed work order: address and district, lock, difficulty, live distance with a direction arrow, customer, estimate and a countdown. Answer with the accept / decline keys while driving (no mouse focus).
- HQ clerk NPC: all HQ options are on a clerk at the counter (
pedin the HQ entry ofConfig.Locations). - Shared customers: the customer NPC is networked, so other players and the police see the same person (
Config.Jobs.NetworkedCustomer). - Black market spots in the location tool: a Black market tab records cars to steal, break-in doors, safe spots and drop points (
Config.BlackMarket.Spots). - Cleaner HQ: the HQ now shows only the terminal and the physical actions. The job board, skills, career, workshop and licence are in the terminal (
Config.UI.CompactHQ). The training option disappears once the training is done.
Fixes and hardening
- Admin check: on servers where the ACE check answers
0for "no", non-admins were treated as admins. Fixed. - Tutorial:
- A training job can no longer end up on the public job board.
- Taking a real job ends the training cleanly.
- Real calls stay away during the training.
- The reward goes only to the apprentice it was built for.
- The job tick is safe against jobs without an expiry time.
- Tools:
- You cannot swap tools in the middle of the lock work.
- The tool in hand is cleared on a character switch.
- A borrowed company tool only works while you are still a member.
- Service van:
- It is identified by its state bag, so a reused network id never points to another car.
- It is not culled when nobody is near.
- A player who drops during the spawn wait gets no orphan van.
- Companies:
- A self-bonus needs the bank permission.
- Company vans need the new
fleetpermission (Senior Locksmith and up). - Closing a company is atomic, so no deposit or commission is lost.
- Payouts are credited back when the receiver left during the database write.
- Actions run one at a time per player.
- Complaints now lower company reputation.
- Black market:
- A delivered car must really be the job car.
- A witness call always reaches the police, even right after an alarm.
- Jobs waiting at the spot now expire.
- Dialogue and paperwork actions are blocked on these jobs.
- Police approval of such a job gives no reputation.
