Performance: each scene is drawn once instead of twice (the game only shows one triangle side; tested in game),
scenes behind the camera are skipped, atlas texture coordinates are cached.
0.2.0
Fix: pressing E in /scene did nothing and left the laser frozen. The client used os.time(), which does not exist
in the FiveM client (attempt to index a nil value (global 'os')); the scene list sync failed the same way. The
client now uses the cloud time.
New 3D mode (free): the text stands in the air in front of you, no wall needed, and stays where you put it, so
you can walk around it. Wheel turns it, Ctrl + wheel tilts it forward / back, Alt + wheel moves it nearer / farther,
Shift + wheel sizes it. It is a two-sided sign: from behind it still reads left to right. It stops in front of
walls instead of going through them.
G now cycles surface -> 3D -> turns-to-viewer; the editor offers all enabled placements.
/scene laser placement: live ghost of the text where you aim; wheel tilts / turns, Shift + wheel sizes,
G switches between "on surface" (flat on walls, floors, ceilings, props) and "floating" (turns to the viewer).
Editor panel with live preview (same painter as the world), 3 lines, 17 bundled fonts with Turkish letters,
12 colours + custom colour, 7 backgrounds (none, outline, plate, note, tape, sign, neon), pulse / flicker effects,
size, view distance and duration.
Aim at your scene: E edits (re-aim moves it), DEL twice deletes; "My scenes" list with GPS and delete.
Server: permission modes (everyone / ACE / job), per-player and total limits, cooldown, text sanitising, style
whitelist, placement distance check, expiry sweeper, ns_scenes table with migration.
Admin: edit / delete any scene, "always" duration, /scenepurge [radius].
/scenehide per player; optional Discord log through the ns_scenes_webhook convar.
Rendering: one DUI texture atlas, textured triangles per scene, nothing per frame when no scene is near, the
texture is freed after 30 s without a near scene.
Known limitation: routing buckets are not separated.
